Snowing from parking lot, increasing intensity during the ascent. Moderate wind from the south.
Snowpack
Some wind loading at the entrance of the couloir, but nothing significant. There is a potential for increased wind loading. New snow was bonding well to old snow. 1' fresh, no dry loose movement, just stellar, quality snow. Signs of wet slabs from the last warming cycle were evident with lots of debris in the lower half of the couloir. Wet, heavy snow in the run out and tour back to the parking lot.
