Clear, calm, 28F. NW aspect below treeline.

Snowpack

Used spotting scope to observe north, south and west slopes. Above treeline was blown clean with the exception of gullies in atl terrain (see pictures). Near treeline held the most extensive snow cover. Hiked from 8600' to 10600' below treeline. North slopes held 20-60cm of loose facets, South were bare or a 3cm mfc over 10cm of rounding (moist facets).
