NE face of Jasper, IPW as we could see, crown was just below summit, say 12,850, and slid down to at least 12,200' (maybe lower but it was not in our view). perhaps 500 ft wide crown. Crown was small, maybe a foot thick. Sunny, 5 degrees warmer than the prior day.

Avalanche
A **slab** (not wet slide), involving most of the NE face that we could see. Must have happened between 11am and 1215pm, as we were near the area at 11am (no activity) and turned around and saw the crown at 1215.
