Weather

Mostly cloudy, winds calm to gusting mid 20s.

Snowpack

Snow surface was composed primarily of decomposing snow and stellar crystals. Exceptions to this were some small soft and hard slabs present on the snow surface just below the ridgeline of Marble Mountain. Minor cracking (propagating 3-4 feet), and no collapsing/whumping were observed on today's tour. We did observe active windloading occurring onto these NE aspects over the course of the day. Upper elevations of the tour were in the low 11,000' range.

Avalanche

No avalanches were observed on today's tour.
