Weather

Sky was broken at the start of the tour, then became obscured as it started to flurry. Winds were Moderate out of the NW. I traveled between 10,000ft and 11,700ft.

Snowpack

Strong winds loaded this terrain feature. I found two well established K hard wind slabs sitting on crust/facet weak layers. A good example of the Persistent Slab avalanche problem forecasted.

Avalanche

Natural R3 D2 that occurred during last storm cycle. Estimated 11/18/15 Crown hight ranged from 40-180cms and broke at the ground.
