Snowpack
My objective was to investigate bonding between recent storm snow and the old snow surface. The warm start to the last storm meant new snow bonded well to the melt-freeze crust which formed days prior to this event. This interface was nonreactive in snowpack tests. Dirt was visible in the melt freeze crust formed between Feb 17 and 19.
