Weather
Mostly clear. Windy at ridge top with minor snow transport. Had there been more snow to move, it would have. Just was not that much to move.
Snowpack
Snowpack up high (treeline and above) staying cold. Snowpack down low (below 10,000) loosing cohesiveness and becoming very punchy at 1500
Avalanche
1st Avalanche was a R1-D1.5 in the 4th of July Coulior. AS-SS R1 D1.5 I. Intinuatlly triggered by a skier in about 6" wind slab. Skier skied out immediate without incident. As the debris ran down the path, the slide stepped down. Maximum crown depth was estimated at 3ft tall at tallest point by 150 ft wide. Derbies ran into a terrain trap. Much larger than initially seemed. 2nd avalanche was natural/ unknown R2D2 HS on NW aspect. Came around the corner and saw it. Looked to have slid withing the last 24-48 hours, since Friday 3/18/16
