Light snow (s-1 to s1) for most of the day with overcast to broken sky. Winds generally n/nw to w/sw light increasing to moderate with elevation.
Snowpack
HS @ TL 100-135 cm probing indicated 20-30 cm of week snow near ground. >TL variable wind board. 1-6 in localized wind skim tending to be found on more southerly slopes, produced underfoot cracking. Surface forms were generally new snow tending on the smaller size, estimating <1 mm. Crusty snow under fresh on solar aspects of lower elevation <11,000
Avalanche
Observed widespread loose snow avalanches difficult to tell if any happened to day. Suspect they were correlated with yesterdays (1/13) warming event.
