I triggered a slide today from the convexity on the edge of the mining road @10,600ft on a E aspect (see pinpoint on map) above the meadow creek trail in the Gore range. Crown height 45-60cm, width 12-15 meters, length >100m (went out of sight, appears to have run at least 3/4 of the path from what I could tell from road but lower activity may have been natural SS release ,r3.5/d2.5?). Appears to have stepped down in places to a faceted layer @ 50cm from ground, HS next to path ~130cm. Bed surface 2-3 mm faceted grains. Max measured slope angle in path was 41 degrees.
