Snowpack
Thin rime/rain crust reported on ski area and Buffalo Pass also exist here on Rabbit Ears up to at least about 10,150 ft. Most pronounced in open areas not sheltered by canopy cover. On south aspects, the crust was melted by the sun and will become a melt-freeze layer once the m-f cycle continues. Small surface hoar formation (1-2 mm) on top of crust, more pronounced on northerly aspects.
