R1D1 slide in First Creek at Berthoud Pass, 1 skier caught deployed airbag, no injuries. Fractured in storm slab, 18" or so deep. In the area immediately south of the parking lot at first creek, east of "chimney chute" There was an ~ 1 day old crown immediately east of where this broke. I made a poor choice in line section. It was our third lap in the zone of the day. This is a zone out group frequents in the winter, the slide and slide evidence we saw today were the first we seen in years of being in the area.
