Cloudy and warm. Wind gusted at time, but nothing significant.

Snowpack

Snowpack ranged from 30-80 cm's. HS directly related to elevation. Very little slab quality was observed below treeline. This changed as we traveled near-treeline on open slopes. On open slopes a slab was observed under this past weeks new snow. That slab sits on cold facets. One member of the group experienced a collapse as another skier in the group skied past.On slopes affected by the solar input a crust has developed on the surface. On shady and protected slopes surface-hoar continues to become more pronounced.
