VERY WEAK SNOWPACK! Below treeline west to northwest facing slopes 100-160cm. Top 50-60 cm is a combination of last weekends storm snow and week prior storm snow. This layer is composed of precipitation particles and broken precipitation particles with fist hardness. This layer interfaces with bottom average of 90 cm of large faceted snow grains with fist hardness. Above treeline slopes are wind effected, scoured and shallow in places and deeply loaded in others. Terrain gullies and depressions are loaded with deep snow and layered with wind crusts and faceted interfaces. Above treeline lee slopes below ridges were wind loaded during and after the weekends storm which produces 6 to 8 foot deep wind slabs.
