Weather

Mild temps, but still sub-freezing at most elevations. Skies were mostly clear w/ strong solar radiation. Winds picked up during the day reaching strong gusts @ ridge-top. Winds aloft started NW becoming NNE. Moderate blowing snow, but it varied w/ specific peak/range. Seemed to depend on available fetch and ridge configuration.

Snowpack

Many ridge tops had fresh cornices. Snow surface varied from surface hoar, NSF, rime crust, to decomposing stellars.
