Light snow, 3-4 inches throughout day. Low visibility. Winds out of the west
Snowpack
12-18'' new. At 11,000 feet, north facing, snow was low density, especially on top. East facing aspects already were affected by sun though. A few quick hand shear tests showed a descent bond with old snow surface but a crust layer a few inches above the dust layer was breaking easily. Wind loading above treeline wasn't too bad, with the slabs still soft and manageable.
