Following 30-50cm storm cycle on Friday, March 1, a sunny warm day on Saturday, March 2 created meaningful settlement in the snowpack at all aspects. Sunday, March 3 was a warm, breezy day with scattered clouds and occaisional sun and no new snow.

ENE Aspect at 3000m on the West Side of Vail Mountain - "Lost Boy Trees". Boot pen 15cm. Settled natural depth of 115cm. 65cm of HS down to 3mm rounds at the interface with the depth hoar. CT and ECT tests did not produce a shear at the interface. The snowpack provided good treeline skiing on northerly aspects up to 30 degrees with no movement observable between 3300m and 2800m.
