Warm temperatures, NW 5-15 with strong gusts, increasing cloud cover, cooling temperatures after 1pm.
Snowpack
Significant wind action over the last few days. The snow surface has a lot of texture and many above treeline areas are scoured down to the rocks. Many round, hard wind pillows. There are a lot of layers in the snowpack. The reactive layers are mostly in the upper part of the snowpack. The lower pack has some weak snow, but is not very reactive. There are signs of previous avalanche activity, but no recent slides. Observations were limited due to clouds and flat light. Snow surface was mostly wind layers and chalky dense snow.
