At 11,500' on Janes/Ophir: 10" new snow. The bottom half of the new snow has high density. Top half reasonably light. This made for very good skiing conditions. No wind effect in area we skied. Periods of decent clearing with no visible natural avalanches observed. New snow seems well bonded to old surface. Not reactive. Conditions below treeline seemed pretty non-threatening
