Various aspects throughout the day. Dug on a north facing aspect (340). Moderate to Strong Winds coming from the West and Northwest. Was at treeline all day ~11,200'. Scattered sky coverage all day. Temperature around -6C in the late morning.
Snowpack
Surface was wind blasted above treeline. Pockets of cold, dry, soft snow at tree line and below treeline. Soft slabs and hard slabs formed or forming near and above treeline. Whumphing heard on an East aspect around ~10,600'.
Avalanche
None observed though a collapse was felt and heard.
