Snowpack
This path is highly effected by WSW winds laterally loading the eastern aspect which quickly rolls into a SE aspect. Late November and early December storms were associated with strong W SW winds and snowfall(83 cm). More than likely this avalanche ran on the surface facets on top of the November 16/17 storm. The slab was on average 40 to 60cm deep with 1 meter pockets.
