Weather

Winds blew last night from the N-NE. Only Gunnison zone weather station that picked up the winds is the Kettle Ponds RMBL site. Others don't show the impacts on the snow surfaces.

Snowpack

NE loading pattern is a bit unusual for us; loading from the looker's right side of Red Lady Bowl, cross-drifting the bowl opposite from the typical patterns. Surfaces were soft below treeline, but near and above, winds built skim crusts and shallow wind slabs.
