Snowpack

HS 110 cm. HST 25cm low density snow still showing poor bonding to the old surface snow and showing evidence of instability at an indistinguishable layer within the storm snow as well. Persistent Slab problem failing on depth hoar layer only with repeatable hard test results but with Sudden Collapse red flag fracture characteristics (false stable signs). Small areas of isolated but non-reactive wind slab found below ridge top with Moderate NW winds transporting snow all day. Cold, high temp of -9C. A few small D1 size loose dry snow slides witnessed in main bowl and on Gothic SW face but only in the recent storm snow. Slow running sluffs triggered on steep, rocky, shallow terrain rolls w/ no consequence.
