Weather

Very cold temps in valley bottom, but inversion kept it warm throughout the day. Quite warm at 10500' at 11 am. Cold again in the shade at 3:30. No wind, strong solar radiation

Snowpack

Large surface hoar growth and lots of surface facets (good skiing!) "Slab"/midpack seems to be weakening more, and depth hoar seems to be growing larger. No signs of instability besides small loose snow avalanches in steep rocky terrain in surrounding mountains.
