Clear skies becoming more overcast throughout day. Warm temperatures. Light SW ridge-top winds.

Snowpack

Significant surface hoar growth in N facing treed openings near treeline. West face above treeline - 55cm of snow: 30 cm 1 finger to pencil wind crust on top of 25cm 4 finger layer. CT 21 Q1 30cm down, ECTN 23 on ground. Whoomphing and shooting cracks noticed below treeline on SW aspect near creekbed.
