High, thin, broken clouds. Moderate to strong west winds. Mild temperatures.
Snowpack
Snowpack depths in the area varied from 25 cm at lower elevations to 60 cm near 10,000 ft on the northerly aspects. General structure- upper snowpack surface hoar and facets, mid pack of some small mixed forms, lower snowpack depth hoar. Significant surface hoar event on the night of the 12th. Observed 3-5mm's in open areas below treeline. First depth hoar layer I have seen this season in the lower snowpack here.
