Weather

Last nights lows were between 11 and 19 degrees warming up to 42 degrees at 10,200' and 32 degrees at 12,000' by 2pm. Light ridge top winds out of the ENE thru the early morning shifting to WNW by the afternoon. Clear skies all day in our tenure, observed cloud cover in the SW over the San Juan by noon.

Snowpack

Upper snowpack is forming a thin melt-freeze crust overnight which is warming up by mid morning on E and S aspects and by noon on W aspects. Shallow areas above and at tree line becoming isothermal, boot pen 6-10" by late afternoon but supportive to valley floor. Not observing any free water at this time.
