Snowpack

Water was present throughout the snowpack on a sunny SE aspect at 11,250'. Snow pack temperatures were measured at 0C degrees from surface to ground. On a NE slope at a similar elevation a snowpack test indicated that propagation is still likely on the basal facets. On an East facing slope at 11,120' a skier was able to collapse a 32 degree slope and propagate a 20 m crack in wet snow.
