Clouds and sun in and out all day, some brief snow showers, but no significant accumulation.

Snowpack

Much of the east face of South Diamond peak has been significantly skier controlled. Much of the area was cut up by the end of the day. There were some wind pillows on the south side of the east face that looked potentially suspect. Pushing through snow with an inverted ski pole revealed a slab sitting on a less cohesive basal layer. No avalanche activity in the area or abvious signs of instability although we did not dig today.
