Weather
The sky cleared around 11:00 am above Sunshine, but clouds lingered over some peaks. Winds were moderate out of the S-SW. Light snow was seen blowing off ridge tops. Temps were warm once you got out of the wind.
Snowpack
Hard nonreactive slabs continue to be on all open slopes. Slabs were largest near and above treeline near ridges and were ~10cms in thickness. These hard slabs are sitting over softer snow, but no cracking or collapsing was observed. Slopes below treeline have been affected by recent warm temp and ample sunshine. Crusts were observed on solar aspects and at low elevations. S-SW winds were lightly loading leeward slopes. Winds were strong enough to load, but no snow to blow around.
