Weather

warm! 40F at 9:30 AM at TH, 11,500' stayed below 0C all day, but damp surface snow and 41F at 10K in PM. all aspects got damp below 10,500, all but shaded N got april wet surface conditions in PM.

Snowpack

20cm storm snow over a rather easily sheared Q1 surface hoar layer, finger stiff layer to about 70 CM and old january 19 buried SH 70 cm deep at 10,500' on NE facing

Avalanche

naturals seen in surface snow from steep starting zones, most in warming during day. nothing seemed to step down except an overnight W facing slide off whitehouse mtn across the valley N of marble bowl. it ran pretty full path, a few trees near creek in debris fan.
