The Lonely Mountain

Conditions definitely lining up with usage today in the Mt Washington area with brutal crust everywhere and not a soul to be found. Very tough to avoid overheating. To be fair, there was a mix of old crust that had been exposed by wind and new crust formed over the 10 or so cm we got on Sunday. Neither of these surfaces softened during the day, even with direct solar input. ?
