Dug a pit at treeline on a similar NE slope that we were skiing. CTH28 down 20cm, RP. Snow hardness was F down 20cm, 4F down to 40cm, an 8cm thick faceted layer, followed by consolidated 1F snow to the bottom of our pit, about 120cm down.
