Started up purple knob early, around 8am at the parking lot. Around 3-4 cm fell overnight. Skied mainly on north aspects before heading over the col around 2:30pm, when the sun cut through the clouds resulting in rapid warming up to 10 degrees Celsius as measured by thermometer. Skied down as the snow got heavier, but no avalanches seen or heard (likely because they have already slid in the previous warming cycles). Once back at the car around 4, snow was accumulating rapidly with temps around 0 degrees.
