We had a calm spring day at Core Lodge. The snowpack was well-settled and made for easy travel. Clouds kept the temperature cooler and the surface just started softening in the afternoon. We didn't see any signs of avalanche activity today but we still kept our distance from slopes with cornices. There was an impressive avalanche from the warm spell a few days ago.
