Did a lap up Crowe to do a column test (and ski of course). Sunny until about 13:00. Looks like a bit of crust began to develop on south facing slopes (slope photo is looking south, not that the crust is visible). The southernmost portion of the west face was super wind affected, but further North was nice heavier powder.

Snowpack

First time doing a column test! I forgot to look at the surface where failures occurred (whoops)I hopefully pictures help. First crack on 6 at about 20 cm deep on storm slab. Looked like a clean break across but I forgot to pull it off. Second at 14 40 cm deep on a second slab with a vertical crack up but not a full crack across. Nothing seemed to happen on the rain crust below
