Kent South Peak

It was -35 C at Scott lake hill at 9 am and -33 at the trail head at 10 am but the sun was up with hardly a whisper of wind. Before too long I was skinning in my base layers with 3 down jackets in my backpack. The snow was quite good. Its a little shallower here and so the midpack is quite faceted especially near the drainage. Got back to my car and in the sun at 330 and it read -11. Over all not really cold in the sun. It was -20 along the 40 at 4 pm.
