- <p>Skinning up had experienced one previous significant whumph crossing through an opening in the trees. Proceeded higher in the trees then decided to again cross an opening in the trees at a concave area with evidence of previous significant sluffing down the slope. First in the party was crossing when it broke ~5m higher than the skier. Short ride to a tree (i.e. did not ride to the bottom).</p>
