Rode up and around the cabin area. You didn't need to go far to get fresh turns all day long. The clouds came and went throughout the day. The snow was generally deep everywhere (HN 40 - 70cm). The storm snow was observed to be ranging from F at the surface and getting denser (4F) towards the crust/facet interface its resting on. No shooting cracks or whumpfs observed all day. Tested small convex features with no reaction. Small natural 1-1.5 avalanches observed on leeward features at ridgetop. Observed people riding into bigger steeper terrain with no signs of instability. These winds today will create wind slab with all the fresh snow. Good riding, but I hope people are scared of that crust / facet interface.
