Toured to the next lake above Chester Lake and found some low angle terrain below Galatea to ski down to the lake. Heading then South towards Chester Lake contouring around Gusty Peak.

It got hot today, probably close to zero, it was -2 when we got back to the truck at 1715. Was in a sun shirt and bibs only from car to car for reference. On steeper south aspects, S of Gusty Peak, there was a 5mm crust with 10cm of moist snow below.

Avy Observations on off Gusty Peak today. Witnessed 2 x dry loose on W aspect out of extreme unskiable terrain at Approx 1518hr and 1528. Saw evidence of less than 12hr wet loose cycle out of S aspect running variable distances.
