Decoeli

Still mostly winter conditions on Decoeli. The Valley bottom has lots of snow which makes the access easy. Wind largely affected all aspects. In fact, there is mostly no snow on north facing slopes. We skied a S-S/E facing slope. The snow was not being affected by the sun. On the way up, there was a thin (1cm) fresh slab that would break off under our skis. On the way down, the same slab would sluff under hard turns. Although the snow was wind affected, the ridding quality was really good. It was mostly like skiing groomed runs. We saw no sings of recent avalanches, no shooting cracks, no whoomphing.
