Skied deep, dry-ish pow inbounds at Shames in the morning. Went for a ride in Deliverance Trees down to the creek at about 850 m elevation in early afternoon. Snow was becoming increasingly wet and upside down as the afternoon went on. By the time we were back inbounds at 3:30, the snow was quite wet and sticky even at 1000 m. We kept to mellow slopes due to the ongoing heavy snow loading. Some isolated cracking in small gully features and rollovers as we skinned back up. Visibility was limited so we couldn’t see the extent of natural avalanche activity on alpine slopes above. Massive tree bombs were the biggest hazard on low-angle slopes.
