Metal dome

We parked the truck at about 700m and skinned to about 1800m for a fitness lap. The road is packed by sleds beyond the flats but no one was out. Quite cold starting at the car but warmed up quickly. Very crusty to the top of the road with thin coverage. There it started getting deeper fast as we went into the alpine. A skiff of new snow on top of a very thick but still breakable crust made skiing incredibly challenging. Not super fun. Lots of rain runnels everywhere.
