Two laps by Purple Knob

Great day by Purple Knob. We did two laps, one down the mellow slide path (see photo) and another run from the ridge down towards the highway in stepper trees. We noticed the fresh layer of snow (~ 10-15cm) starting to sluff in sections around 35+ degrees in the steeper trees but wouldn’t run more than a few feet. We also noticed the natural avalanche in one of the steeper slide paths that likely would have occurred overnight.
