Glacier Crest SW Aspect

Ski cut across open slope at rollover to test stability and gain access to lower angle terrain. Expected to cut out a power sluff at best, as we weren't expecting the F snow to have much propagation potential and hadn't seen evidence of it forming a cohesive slab earlier in the day. Instead, saw significant propagation, with most of the slope pulling out below me. The interface was on the Dec. 1 crust, which was less firm at that elevation, but still made for a great bed surface.
