Helena Ridge- needs more snow

We skied for the views today. Blue bird day :) Snow depth about 40cm at the bottom of the ridge to 0cm at the top of the ridge. Ridge was wind scoured with slabby sections of snow barely covering rocks. Snow lower down was dry and loose. We were able to ski to the top and very carefully ski down. We stayed in the trees on the way down following our up track to avoid rocks and deadfall. The rockbound lake trail down was fast and well covered.
