Observed old Sz 1 slab avalanches on S and SW aspects at TL and ALP elevations. 2000m Polar aspects look to hold good snow although had parking lot reports of Sa Sz 1.5-2 near or en route to Million Dollar couloir. No injuries reported. Sz 1 Na x 2 loose wet entraining running mid path observed on S ASP from 2000m at 1330hrs Snow was wet on the surface and entraining off our skis around 1700m SE ASP MFcr will form O/N on solar asp with cooling temps (currently -11c at 1900hrs at 1250m) up to 2000m? Nothing above 2000m was observed shedding any snow while we were present but still possible with sun effect late into the day.

Weather

0700 temps at 1250m -4 few clouds. 1200 at 2000m clear skies and calm wind with valley cloud. Solar facing aspects receiving sun with snow balling and loose wet sloughing observed.

Snowpack
