Great day out! Slightly firm powder all round and enough coverage too! Spotty clouds in the morning, lower colder clouds in the afternoon. Large whumf observed in the gasoline alley/wildthing bowl. Decided to dig and investigate. HS 145 34 deg N. 2200m. Top 30 unconsolidated, 25cm layer of gropple,(ball like snow) followed by consistent firm (pen) snow to grown. Sadly forgot my saw and cord to test fully.
