2 x natural avalanches observed on the Fish Bowl Headwall.
Avalanche
Observed 2 x natural avalanches on the Fish Bowl Headwall that occurred about 1 minute apart. Both appeared to be cornice triggered, with the first one giving a large "boom" similar to a bomb. We were quite far away so difficult to judge depth.. Avalanche 1 was size 2 with and looked have propagated on the recent windslab. Crown wall was ~ 25-50m wide. Avalanche 2 was size 2.5 and potentially stepped down into deeper layers... the crown wall was significantly deeper than the first avi and crown wall ~ 100-150m wide. The crown wall can be seen from town. There was also evidence of other avalanches up to size 2 on the headwall likely occurring in the last 24 hours.
