Weather
Southwest winds continue to rake the upper elevations, and are mixing down to pass level and affecting some of our near and below treeline terrain
Snowpack
Alpine terrain is either stripped bare or wind-hammered with the exception of north-northeast terrain which is plump with freshly loaded snow. Some wind effect is getting down to pass level and intermittent drifting was observed along the corridor. The Brooklyns were getting cross-loaded and there was some minor drifting on the road. A few fresh D2's were observed on SE-NE aspects.
Avalanche
Several D2 avalanches released in highway and highway-adjacent paths in the past 24 hours.
