moderate snow with light winds throughout day. temps in twenties mid-morning, falling to teens by mid-afternoon.

Snowpack

dug test pit on 31 degree W aspect at 9890 feet BTL. HS 200 cm. CTN and ECTX. additional loading on test columns produced failures approximately 100 cm from surface.

Avalanche

no avalanches observed. no woomphing or cracking noticed.
